All day yesterday we were in the clouds, barely 20 feet visibility and dark. Today, we were above the clouds and that is an amazing sensation!
The cloud tops are about 100 feet below us. Bill captured this panorama just at sunrise.
Martin took this shot just before sunrise and it shows something interesting. In the green oval is the plume from the cooling towers of a power plant, poking up thru the clouds.
