Wow! This time lapse proved to be a lot more interesting than Martin thought it would!

We are looking southeast and you can see the lower cloud deck is moving toward us and the upper one away from us!
The shoot started at 8:16 AM, finished at 10:44 AM and a frame was shot every 10 seconds. I had OSnap! Pro render it at 15 frames per second so the motion wasn’t too fast. Let’s see, 10 seconds/frame into 1/15 seconds/frame is a speed up of 150 times.
Here’s the ground level wind speed and direction from the weather station. The wind speed was a pretty steady 5-10 mph, changing from northeast to due south. So the lower cloud deck was moving in about the same direction.
