Today was definitely different! It was cold and we started out in an ice fog, then it warmed up and things got interesting.

At 8:00 AM, it was 22°F out, way below the 32°F minimum of the iPhone’s operating range. If you try a long shot below this, the phone simply shuts down, so all Martin could do was a quick movie.

This was different! It’s now 10:09 AM and the temperature is up to 28°F and the clouds, unlike every other time this has happened, are still here. Martin figured that at 28°F with a black iPhone in mostly sun he just might get away with a long shoot and he did! At the end you can see the shadows of the upper clouds moving across the lower clouds.


This is my usual 150x speedup, 10 seconds per frame going into 15 frames per second. The video is actually running at 24 frames per second, so OSnap! Pro replicates frames to make it all work out.
