We’ll blame this one on Eileen! She replied with this to yesterday’s post:
“You do know you’re sending this to people in Oklahoma, right? Lol. Not that wind gusts are high right now. Only about 25-30 mph yesterday, so it hasn’t been especially windy. But we do have to see gusts of 65 mph or more to sit up and take notice.”
Colorado said “Challenge Accepted!
There you go, 61.9 mph!
But, even more amazing, look at how the wind stayed above 20 mph for the entire day yesterday and this morning, finally dropping off after about 2:00 AM or so.
Here’s a look at our south window wall flexing in the wind. La Cantina designs them to do this so that it can take winds of up to 160 mph. The glass is really only flexing about 1/4”, the reflection makes it look like much more.
The iPhone camera took the very dark reflection and brightened it up to look like a mirror.
