After the storm, the next morning the snow had drifted a lot, so it’s difficult to say how much we’ve got. Somewhere between 18” (Bill) and 24” (Martin).

This is at the southwest corner of the house, north is to the right. The wind was out of the north, so it formed these cornices.

This is at the southeast corner of the house, north is to the left. This was fairly well protected, but you can see that the snow is pile up about 14” deep at the right side of the window. As you go away from the house, the drifts get deeper quickly. That one about 6’ east of the window is probably 4’ deep.

A walk around the bottom patio at the south end of the house.

The intense glow from the unbelievably dense fog made this shot almost impossible. Even with the big work light on it, the tape is still difficult to read. It’s locked at 2 feet, so the snow right in front of the south garage door is about 21” deep.

This was shot from inside the south garage. The snow is too deep to try to walk out.

Let’s see if we can get some help digging out? . . . That would be NO!
