Now for a surprise! I’ll bet you didn’t know we had one of these:
Yep, we have to use a TARDIS to go to the 1950’s to visit one of our favorite places:
Rosie’s Diner! Yep, it’s just like going back to the 1950s!
On the left as you enter, An actual working juke box with vinyl 45s.
On the right, quite a collection of knick-knacks and memorabilia for sale.
As you enter the diner, a classic pie and cake tower. Notice the chicklet tiles on the floor as well.
The bar. Click on the picture and zoom in to see who the seats at the bar are reserved for. Yes, even the tables are 1950s metal edged laminate top tables!
At our table. The jukebox can actually be run from each table, all the condiment baskets are period accurate too.
Bills Foot Long Hot Dog and Onion Rings. If you look closely you can see that the table pattern is Rosie’s logo.
Martin’s Patty Melt. Absolutely amazing, there are almost no restaurants with a patty melt on their menu left.
