    Here’s an example of just how wild the front range can be. We’re a scant half-mile from our ISP, X Bar 7’s weather station, and today, at one point, we were 30 degrees Fahrenheit different from them??!! Martin wasn’t ready at that instant, so he could only capture a 25 degree difference.

That’s our rooftop station on the left, showing 30.7°F, and X-Bar Seven on the right, showing 5°F. A little earlier, X-Bar Seven was at -6°F, and we were at 24°F.


Also, we’re showing 1.5 mph wind from the West Northwest, X-Bar Seven is showing 9 mph from the exact opposite direction!

Here’s where we and X-Bar Seven’s base station are. We’re the blue dot at the top, their base station is the red dot at the bottom. At the top left, we can see that 100 pixels = 375 feet. Us to X-bar 7 is 750 pixels, so 7.5 * 375 ‎=2,812.5 feet between us.
