    We ended up getting about 8” of snow. It drifted a lot, so it’s really hard to say exactly how much we got. 

Shooting from the south garage door, we ended up with about 14” piled up from the house acting as a snow fence.

Martin just had to get a dramatic shot, so he climbed the stairs to the roof and shot from the platform at the top. Each step had to have the snow brushed off it, since it was about 6” deep on them.

Look at how deep the snow drifts on the roof are! That steam coming up is the boiler exhaust. 

We did end up going to town for dinner at Smokin’ Daves in Lyons.
