We’re actually in level 1 smoke this morning and time for a hummer update.

We’re only in level 1, so most of this is humidity haze.

Map is at https://firms.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/usfs/map/#d:24hrs; This time the extreme north of Canada is causing most of the smoke, with a small contribution from the Deer Creek fire at 17,000 acres in southwest Colorado and Dragon Bravo at 85,000 acres in northern Arizona

Map is at https://fire.airnow.gov. (have to let it use your geolocation) It’s zoomed in to show the small smoke plume from the Deer Creek and Dragon Bravo fires. As always, none of the problems come from Colorado sources.

Now for something nicer - hummers, lots and lots of hungry hummers. This is just the typical crowd that we have all day.

Yep, we are feeding a lot of hummers! That one blip to 1137 occurs because of filling a lot of feeders. We still haven’t found a way of averaging these out that we like.
