This was rain that was as intense as any we’ve seen, possible even harder, but it went on for a full hour!

This was shot at 1:19 PM.

This is the rooftop camera at 1:30 PM (no sound)

This was shot at 1:31 PM. After looking at the rooftop camera, Martin had to do another shoot! Then he went inside so you could hear the hail bouncing off the windows and exhaust fan cover.

This is a large scale animation of Wunderground’s weather radar.

This is a zoom in of Wunderground’s weather radar. Carter lake is barely visible right in the middle, we’re a bit to the west of the south end of it.

Here’s Wunderground graph from our weather station. As you can see we hit an inch an hour rate and stayed there for a while.

Note that the solar radiation is down to, believe it or not, Two Watts per square meter, which is why the automatic flagpole lights were on.

Here’s the solar radiation chart from a few days ago, Monday, June 9th. At this time of year, on a clear day at about 2:00 PM we are getting Three Humdred Fourteen watts per square meter. The clouds and rain were essentially blocking all of it!.
