April 17, 2026 Another Intense Short Snow
Sigh, not enough to help with the drought, but it was pretty intense.
It wasn’t very cold at ground level, about 28 °F, but the clouds were cold enough to produde these tiny flakes. This was shot starting at 9:43 AM.
The rooftoop camera 3 minutes later at 9:46 AM. The cameral “amplifies” the intensity of snow and rain for some reason.
A little while later, at 10:13 AM, the snow is coming down a bit harder. It only lasted another hour or so, so we got just about 3 inches, which melted to 8 hundredths of an inch of water.
