April 24, 2026 Gusts above 50mph

We’ve two gusts over 50 mph in the past 2 days and Martin started shooting at 8:16 AM, we’ll check in the log file for the wind speed during the shoot.

Here’s the plot, with the 1st 54 mph gust happening a little after 8:00 AM on 4/22/2026 and the second, at 50 mph at about 5:00 PM on 4/24/2026

We log every 5 minutes, so here’s the interesting part of the log file:

As you can see, while Martin was out, the wind speed was about 38 mph, and the gusts were about 50mph.

With the wind speed at just under 40 and gusts to only 50, the wind speed was pretty constant!
