April 29, 2026 Nelson Rangell with Bass Player using a 6 string Bass 

This was a bit different night at Nissi’s. Nelson Rangell doesn’t have the same band, he’s got a bunch of players he knows and he taps whoever is free for each show.

Tonight’s Bass player had a six-string Bass. We’d never seen, and more importantly, heard anything like it.

Of course, he had a normal four-string bass as well.

Nelson has switched to a Tenor Sax.
