    Martin tried to capture an interesting phenomenom, pine needles turning into diamonds, but wasn’t entirely sucessful. 

The camera just can’t quite capture the experience. This just hints at how amazing it is. That snow had gotten all the dust off the needles, the sun was just right and it was glittering like crazy.
