May 10, 2026  Early Hummingbird Season Report

    Martin got a bug fixed in the Hummingbird feeding spreadsheet, so the bird count is sane on days when we have to put feeders out multiple times. Had to add a column, “Feeding Intervals Today in Hours” with this formula in it:

SUMIFS(Feeding Interval in hours,Date Only,Date Only 'Monday, March 23, 2026 10:50 AM')

Add all the hourly intervals that happened today to get the total interval that the sugar was consumed over.

This was shot starting at 5:22 PM, looking to the east, so the hummers would catch the sun.

We are already feeding quite a lot of birds. That 200 is probably a bit high, since we had to replace all 4 walls and the tube today.
