May 18, 2026 Intense Early Evening Rain Yesterday and Continuing today

    Maybe the drought is coming to an end! It starting raining yesterday evening and its still going on at 9:30 this morning. It really started with a bang yesterday!

Wow! Amazingly enough, at about 38 seconds you can see a hummer left of the power pole! Even this won’t keep those little guys from flying. This was shot starting at 8:03 PM.

The rooftop camera starting at 8:06 PM. Look at how big the splashes thrown up by the raindrops are!

The red area of the storm had just barely cleared us by 8:13 PM. When the above movies were shot, it was right on top of us.

Here’s the rain from 3:00 pm yesterday to 9:30 am today. Over that period we got .79 inches of rain.
