May 5, 2026 During the Snowstorm
This monster was predicted to dump up to 14” on us and it pretty much did! (This page was created on May 6)
What the weather forecasters got wrong was the start time. It wasn’t supposed to really start snowing untill 10:00 AM or so. This was shot starting at 7:14 AM and it had been snowing for several hours.
The hummers are determined little guys and they don’t let snow slow them down.
This was shot starting a minute later and it’s snowing pretty hard.
It’s now 7:54 AM and the storm is intensifying.
The rooftop camera about an hour later at 8:57.
Lunch at 11:26 AM and the hummers join us!
It’s now 2:37 PM. We’re getting enough wind now so that its hard to tell just how hard its snowing with all the snow on the roof getting blown around.
