Sunday, September 27, 2026 Sunrise and Pancakes on the Griddle
We had a spectacular sunrise and we finally got around to showing the griddle in action.
Martin got out exactly at sunrise!
The griddles has lots of room. If we’re doing this in pans, the sausages have to go first, then 2 rounds of pancakes follow, this is enough faster to justify firing up the griddle. You’ll notice that those are very thick pancakes, we used Pam Anderson’s one from The Perfect Recipe, but we’ve got to try the one from America’s Test Kitchen - Best Buttermilk Pancakes. That looks interesting, with sour cream.
