    Twenty degrees isn’t that extreme, but what is mysterious is how this happens. We’re on the extreme eastern edge of the rockies and X-Bar Seven is back into the mountains more. This seems to make a big difference in the temperatures we see, but we’re not sure why. The sun hadn’t risen yet, so us getting sun before X-Bar Seven isn’t why.

Remember that X-Bar Seven’s station is just a bit more than a half mile away from us. Martin also figured out that he didn’t need to take two screen shots and manually composite them. All of the interesting data can be shown with one screen capture of both windows.
