The drill rig was on site yesterday, May 2, 2019, but only drilled enough for the top steel casing, about 80’. The casing goes to 60’ and was placed and cemented yesterday.
Here’s the drill rig on the left and the support truck on the right. The support truck carries most of the drill pipe 2,500 gallons of water, and the big air compressor. In these water wells, air is used to carry the cuttings out of the hole. A bit of water is used to cool the bit.
